The Volvo S60 is a sporty, dynamic sedan combining excellent performance and a great design with outstanding safety features. New for 2012 is a front-wheel drive T5 model.  The S60 comes in two models, a front-wheel drive T5 or all-wheel drive T6 sedan. Included on the T5 is a turbocharged 250-hp five-cylinder, the T6 includes a turbocharged 300-hp 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. Both are matched with a six-speed Geartronic automatic transmission. Chassis equipment includes dynamic stability traction control (DSTC) with advanced stability control, and corner traction control with torque vectoring. Safety features include Pedestrian Detection with Auto Brake, City Safety, whiplash protection front headrests (WHIPS), anti-lock brakes, and six airbags. Sirius satellite radio and Bluetooth are standard. The T5 includes T-Tec cloth upholstery, the T6 with standard leather upholstery. Optional equipment includes glass moonroof, navigation system, an upgraded premium audio system, rear seat entertainment system with dual DVD players, and xenon high-intensity headlights.

The Volvo S80 is a modern, good looking, quick and powerful sedan with a surefooted stance and solid performance. New for 2011 the engines receive horsepower increases, the 3.2 liter engine to 240-hp, and the turbocharged 3.0 liter to 300-hp. The V8 is no longer available.  The front-wheel drive S80 is available with a 240-hp 3.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine or a 230-hp 3.2-liter PZEV engine. The T6 is available with all-wheel drive and a 300-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six. Both engines are matched with a six-speed Geartronic automatic transmission. Safety features include ABS, traction control, stability control, and six airbags. Adaptive cruise control, collision warning system with pre-braking, and blind-spot information system are optional, as well as active bi-xenon headlamps that follow the road around curves. Also included in the safety roster is the Personal Car Communicator, and an electronic key fob.

The 2011 Volvo C30 has new, sportier styling and a sport chassis. This sporty four-seater combines an exciting drive with Volvo's customary safety features.  Available in T5 and R-Design trims the front-wheel drive C30 has a sporty front MacPherson strut/rear multi-link suspension. Powered by a 227-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five-cylinder engine, it is matched with a six-speed manual transmission or five-speed Geartronic automatic. The safety features are up to Volvo's excellent standards with six airbags, seatbelt pretensioners, whiplash protection, side-impact protection, and stability traction control. A Sport Package on the T5 R-Design offers a more aggressive suspension. For 2011, instead of many separate options Volvo has combined the most popular options into packages.
